About our Rings
A ring is handled more than any other piece of jewellery, which changes how it has to be built. Settings need to protect the stone without hiding it, the shank has to be thick enough to hold its shape for decades, and the profile has to sit comfortably against neighbouring fingers.
Gem Plaza's rings cover single-stone emerald, ruby, sapphire and diamond pieces, cocktail rings built around one exceptional gem, and linear diamond bands from the Calista collection. Most designs are made to order in your size rather than resized after the fact, which keeps the setting geometry correct. Sizing, metal and stone can all be specified. Engagement and bespoke work follows our bespoke process, and pieces can be tried on by appointment at our M.I. Road showroom in Jaipur.
Where is Gem Plaza jewellery made?
Every Gem Plaza piece is made at the house's own atelier in the Gem & Jewellery Zone at Sitapura, Jaipur — 10,000 square feet, more than 150 craftspeople, and all production in house from wax and casting through stone setting, finishing and quality control. The house was founded in Jaipur in 1988 and shows from its M.I. Road showroom.
