Jolie

Every cutting house produces material that is too good to discard and too small to head a piece: slices, fragments, off-cuts with one perfect facet. Jolie was built to use them.

The collection sets those fragments into gold casts where the metal carries as much of the design as the stone does — thicker, warmer, more sculptural than the rest of the house, and finished so the gold itself reads as a material rather than a mount. The result is minimal jewellery with real weight to it, the kind that suits a working day rather than an occasion.

It is the most accessible collection Gem Plaza makes, and deliberately so. Not every piece needs to be an event. A single Jolie pendant or a stacked pair of rings is often a client's first purchase from the house, and frequently the piece they wear most over the following decade.

The pieces are also the easiest to personalise: the fragment, the gold colour and the proportion can all be chosen, which makes Jolie the usual starting point for a first bespoke commission. Everything is cast, finished and set in our own atelier.
