CAD & CAM
Drawings become dimensioned models, and models become build-ready resin patterns.
Manufacturing · Sitapura, Jaipur
Gem Plaza has manufactured under its own roof since 1988. Ten thousand square feet in the Gem & Jewellery Zone at Sitapura, more than 150 craftspeople, and every process from CAD file to hallmarking inside one building.

For other houses
Most of what leaves Sitapura carries someone else's name. Among the jewellery manufacturers in Jaipur we are one of the few that develops, samples and produces entirely in-house, for jewellery houses, designers and retailers who want the work done in Jaipur and want it done on one floor.
The advantage of a single site is not speed. It is that a correction reaches the person who made the error, that a sample and the production run come off the same master, and that nobody outside the building has handled your stones.
Development from a sketch or a tech pack
You send a drawing, a reference piece or a CAD file. We model it, cost it against real stone measurements, print a resin trial and cut the first sample.
Production against an approved sample
Once a sample is signed off it becomes the reference. Every piece in the run is inspected against it, not against a description of it.
Private label under your own mark
Your design, your name, your packaging. We do not appear on the piece, the box or the paperwork the customer sees.
Repeat orders from held masters
Approved masters and moulds are kept, so a reorder is dimensionally the same piece rather than a new interpretation of it.
Jaipur disciplines you may not have in-house
Kundan, jadau and meenakari are done here by craftsmen who do only that work. Houses come to Jaipur for these benches specifically.
We do not name clients on this website. Some houses permit it; most do not, and publishing the ones who allow it tells a competitor exactly who the others are. If you need references we will ask a client directly and put you in touch.
We do not quote from a photograph. A price that arrives before anyone has read a specification is a price that changes later, and trade buyers have been burnt by that often enough.
The facility
The atelier is at G-1/21-23 in the Gem & Jewellery Zone at EPIP, Sitapura — the industrial estate on the southern edge of Jaipur where most of the city's export manufacturing sits. It is a working floor: benches, kilns, casting, polishing and a quality room, with the design and CAD team on the same site.
Visitors are welcome by appointment. We would rather a buyer walked the floor before placing an order than after.
G-1/21-23, Gem & Jewellery Zone, EPIP, SitapuraHow long a run takes is set by the piece, not by the floor. A plain cast mount with four stones and a jadau collar of the same metal weight occupy a bench for very different lengths of time, and a design that needs a new master starts further back than one made from a master we already hold. Minimums work the same way: they follow from the metal, the stone quality and the mould, not from a policy.
So the figures come from the specification. Send the category, the metal, the stone quality and the quantity you have in mind, and the trade desk answers with the capacity, the minimum and the lead time for that programme — in writing, within two business days.
Capabilities
Seven disciplines, none of them subcontracted. Each is described in full on the capabilities page — what the process is, and how it is actually done here.

01
Drawings become dimensioned models, and models become build-ready resin patterns.
02
Lost-wax casting in karat gold, alloyed in-house to the colour the piece requires.

03
Pieces built at the bench from sheet and wire, where a casting will not hold the edge.

04
Prong, bezel, channel and pavé, and the Jaipur disciplines: kundan and jadau.

05
Vitreous enamel fired into engraved gold cells, one colour and one firing at a time.

06
Descending abrasive grades, then textures, plating and cleaning before inspection.

07
Every piece inspected against its own specification before it leaves the building.
Confidentiality
We sign before you send. A mutual non-disclosure agreement is executed at the start of a conversation, not after a specification has already crossed a desk — because by then the thing you were protecting has already been shared.
If you have your own NDA, we will sign yours. If you do not, we will send ours.
Compliance
The previous version of this website claimed conflict-free sourcing, fair trade practice and sustainable stones, and carried no certificate, membership number or third-party verification of any kind. Those claims are not repeated here.
What the company holds is shown on request rather than displayed as a badge. Ask the trade desk what applies to your order — registrations, the hallmarking arrangement, the declarations behind the stones — and you will get the paperwork itself. Where something is not held, we say so in the same reply.
Most Jaipur retailers buy finished pieces from workshops in Sitapura and Johari Bazaar. Gem Plaza is one of the smaller number that both retails and manufactures: a showroom on M.I. Road and its own 10,000 sq ft atelier at Sitapura, employing more than 150 craftspeople, where casting, setting, meenakari, polishing and quality control all take place in one building.
Both, and it has been since 1988. Gem Plaza Private Limited runs a retail showroom at Khetan Bhawan on M.I. Road, Jaipur, and a manufacturing atelier at Sitapura that produces both its own collections and work for other jewellery houses under their names. The two operate as one registered company, CIN U36911RJ2003PTC018054.
Tell us the category, the volume and the timeline. We reply within two business days, and we sign an NDA before you send anything you would not want seen.
