A single large green cabochon, left in its natural outline rather than cut to a symmetrical shape, held on six long rose gold claws. The bail is pierced but otherwise plain. Nothing has been done here except to hold the stone securely and get out of its way.

Every piece is made at our own atelier at G-1/21-23 Gem & Jewellery Zone, EPIP, Sitapura, Jaipur — 10,000 sq ft, over 150 craftspeople, and all production in house from wax to final polish. Setting, finishing and quality control happen under one roof, and the bench that made a piece can be identified from its reference number.
