What this site is
This is a catalogue and an introduction to the house. It is not a shop. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, and submitting an enquiry does not create a contract. Pieces shown may already be sold, reserved, or held as a record of work we have made.
Where a price is shown it is indicative and subject to confirmation. Where a price is not shown, it is available on request. Any sale is governed by a separate written quotation and invoice, and by our returns policy and shipping terms.
Accuracy of descriptions
We describe pieces and stones as accurately as we are able. Gemstones are natural materials and vary; photography cannot reproduce colour exactly, and screens differ. Measurements, weights and stone descriptions given on the site are approximate unless they appear on a laboratory report or a written quotation, which take precedence.
Where a stone has been treated, the treatment is stated. Where we do not know something — an origin, a date, a provenance — we say so rather than estimating.
Intellectual property
The text, photography, drawings, designs and code on this site belong to Gem Plaza Private Limited or to the people we licensed them from. You may read, print and share pages for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy the photography, reproduce the designs, or use the content to train a commercial model without our written permission.
"Gem Plaza" and the Gem Plaza wordmark are our marks. Other names on the site belong to their owners and are used to identify them.
Links to other sites
We link to gyanmuseum.com and gyanjaipur.com, which are operated by related entities in our family, and to third-party sites including laboratory verification services and press coverage. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Third-party tools
The diamond inventory search on our diamonds page is provided by RapNet and loads only when you ask for it. Listings there come from third-party sellers, are live at the moment of searching, and are not held for you until we confirm availability in writing.
Availability
We try to keep the site available and correct, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of anything harmful. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site, and our total liability arising from the site itself is limited to the amount you have paid us in connection with it, which for most visitors is nothing. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan have exclusive jurisdiction, save that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere you retain any right you have to bring proceedings in your own country.
