About our Pendants
A pendant is the most direct way to wear a single fine stone. There is no matched suite to assemble and no line to balance — the piece succeeds or fails on the gem and the setting around it, which is why pendants are where the house puts many of its most unusual stones.
The range covers emerald, ruby, sapphire, tanzanite and diamond, in settings from near-invisible bezels to sculptural gold work from the Jolie collection. Chains are supplied to a length you specify and can be changed later. Because a pendant is often a first piece or a gift, it is also the format most frequently commissioned: bring a stone, or choose one from our own stock in Jaipur, and we will build the setting around it in our Sitapura atelier.
Where is Gem Plaza jewellery made?
Every Gem Plaza piece is made at the house's own atelier in the Gem & Jewellery Zone at Sitapura, Jaipur — 10,000 square feet, more than 150 craftspeople, and all production in house from wax and casting through stone setting, finishing and quality control. The house was founded in Jaipur in 1988 and shows from its M.I. Road showroom.
