About our Cufflinks
Cufflinks are a small category with a demanding brief: they have to pass through a cuff easily, stay put through a dinner, and look considered from the two-thirds angle at which anyone actually sees them.
Ours are made with a swivel-bar fitting rather than a chain, weighted so the face sits flat rather than rolling forward, and finished on the reverse as carefully as on the front. Materials run from plain gold through to cabochon sapphire, emerald and mother-of-pearl, and the house also makes matched dress sets to commission for weddings. Monogramming and enamel work — including traditional Jaipur meenakari — are available. Everything is made in our own atelier in Sitapura, and pairs can be seen by appointment at our M.I. Road showroom.
Where is Gem Plaza jewellery made?
Every Gem Plaza piece is made at the house's own atelier in the Gem & Jewellery Zone at Sitapura, Jaipur — 10,000 square feet, more than 150 craftspeople, and all production in house from wax and casting through stone setting, finishing and quality control. The house was founded in Jaipur in 1988 and shows from its M.I. Road showroom.
